summer vacations - learn sanskrit

for all those who keep interest in learning Sanskrit, here's the chance. Children as well as elders can enroll into various Sanskrit Learning programs that are being offered by Samskrita Bharati. Following are 5 upcoming Sanskrit Learning programs that will be taken up by Samskrita Bharati -


1) Lalita Bodhini Sanskrit Camp for children at Mulund starting 26th April. the details are as follows: 

संस्कृतभारती is conducting a संस्कृत– Summer Camp.

Salient Features:-

Rules and Regulations:

1.  The camp will start and end at right time as indicated

2.  The Standard which is passed or appeared will be considered for deciding the groups.

3.  Admissions for the camp will be taken in advance on first serve basis - maximum 45 per group. Last date for the admissions will be 20th April 10.

4.  Admissions forms duly filled in along with the camp fees may be submitted only on the routine Balkendra timings and venue i.e.,

The goal is not only to make you fluent in spoken Sanskrit but also to impart skills to teach Sanskrit in spoken way and there by set a whole new trend in the Sanskrit teaching and learning arena.

not only are the lectures for around 8 hours a day delivered in Sanskrit but even games, food,  and all other communications through out the day with every one around are in Sanskrit. It is a unique experience not only of learinig Sanskrit but actually Living Sanskrit

You can not be an absolute novice to attend this. So who can join?
  1. Those who have Completed MA or BA in Sanskrit, or
  2. attended a three Month Course- Prathama Or Dewwtiya Deeksha, Bhasha Pravesha, Kaumudi Varga, Geeta Sopanam or Sanskrit courses through correspondance or
  3. attended Several Spoken Sanskrit Courses and have achieved a reasonable fluency in Spoken Sanskrit. 

Terms:
  1. It will be compulsary to talk in Sanskrit (though you may make mistakes while speaking) while you are at the venue of the Shibiram
  2. Cell phones will have to me switched off. no communication by phone with your relatives will be permitted (unless very necessary)
  3. No permission shall be granted to leave the premises of Shibir for the duration of 12 days (unless very necessary)
  4. Seperate arrangements for ladies will be made.
  5. participants have to bring their bedding.
